Sioux City Sports Commission Marathon

The Sioux City Sports Commission Marathon is a USATF Certified Course. This year's event is presented by the Sioux City Sports Commission.

The course incorporates large sections of the Lewis & Clark trail system and features spectacular views of the tree-lined Missouri and Big Sioux Rivers.  You'll enjoy the stunning fall foliage as you run along the trails and through scenic Stone State Park in Sioux City, Iowa.  The marathon and marathon relay courses begin at the Marina Inn Hotel and Conference Center in South Sioux City, Nebraska and finishes on Historic 4th Street in Downtown Sioux City.   This year's marathon has been cancelled due to continued trail construction in the Siouxland area.   The 2012 date will be announced as soon as we are confident that we can provide a course.  The event includes the marathon, 1/2 marathon and 5-person marathon relay.
