For more than 80 years, the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra has been a dominant force in the cultural life of the Sioux City area. A measure of the orchestra's quality is the caliber of the artists who have performed with the orchestra over the year: Itzhak Pearlman, Victor Borge, Isaac Stern, Marian Anderson, Benny Goodman, Roberta Peters, and Joshua Bell, as well as many other musical greats.
