Saturday in the Park

Since 1991, Saturday in the Park has entertained thousands of Siouxlanders as well as visitors from across the United States with quality music, activities, food, and refreshments for all age groups.

The annual event kicks off on the Friday evening of the 4th of July weekend, with the "Big Parade" along the Missouri River and continues on Saturday at noon until 11:00 p.m. with continuous music and activities.

It is no wonder that upwards of 30,000 visitors flock to the Band Shell in Grandview Park - with headliners such as Santana, Ziggy Marley, The Allman Brothers Band and Buddy Guy. Saturday in the Park is one of the most anticipated summer events in the Midwest.

Just when you think it can't get any better, you find out that a dedicated group of individuals and generous support of sponsors has provided this outstanding entertainment for the public free of charge. Winning "Iowa's Award for Best Outdoor Events" in 1998, Saturday in the Park is one event you don't want to miss.
