Regional Health Care

The Siouxland area offers a full range of medical services, complete with two excellent hospitals, nursing homes, home health services, and a wide variety of health care professionals.

Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, combined, offer the area 832 beds and comprehensive state-of-the-art outpatient, laboratory and radiology services. The area is home to over 300 physicians and surgeons and 53 dentists. Other health care services include a trauma center, burn unit and advanced cardiovascular care, substance abuse and psychiatric services, as well as cancer treatment, pulmonary services and neo-natal unit.
