The 185th Air Refueling Wing's mission is to provide structure, training, resources, facilities and equipment in support of total force. The 185th Air Refueling Wing provides equipment and trained personnel to meet the emergency and humanitarian needs of the citizens of Iowa and participates actively in local, regional and national initiatives and programs that add value to the Siouxland community. Currently the 185th Refueling Wing continues to support the Global War on Terror, with members deploying to Afghanistan, Kuwait, England, Israel, Germany, Iceland, Iraq, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan and North America. The Wing is busy providing airlift and refueling for other military units.
