Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center

This county facility houses a variety of exhibits including a "walk-under" prairie, 400-gallon aquarium of native fish, and natural history dioramas. A discovery area provides opportunity to handle furs, antlers, fossils and other artifacts. Classes, public programs and meetings are held in the two 80-seat classrooms. A resource library covering a variety of natural resource topics is also available to visitors. Two miles of interpretive hiking trails offer spectacular views and connect with other park trails.
