Leisure time activities play an important part in the lives of Siouxland residents and visitors. Each year Siouxland hosts the River-Cade summer festival and Saturday in the Park music festival in July. On the Labor Day weekend ArtSplash, a juried art festival, is held on Sioux City’s riverfront.
