Siouxland offers over 50 park sites, trails, pools and historic sites. Siouxland parks offer a wide range of amenities including camping, picnicking and swimming areas, canoe and pedal-boat rentals, tennis and basketball courts, playground equipment, hiking and biking trails and plenty of places to relax.
Riverside Park
Riverside Park Recreation Complex is highlighted by a full aquatic center with slides and a sand play area. Other features include: playground equipment, playing fields, picnic areas, ball diamond, basketball court, tennis, sand volleyball, boat ramps, and fishing. At the edge of the park lies the entrance to the scenic trail that runs along the Missouri river.1301 Riverside Blvd.

Bacon Creek
Bacon Creek Park, on the east side of Sioux City, has a 3-mile trail around a small lake where visitors can fish or rent paddle boats and canoes. Other facilities include: picnic areas, playground and fitness equipment, and a nature study.5015 Correctionville Rd.

Crystal Cove Park - South Sioux City
Crystal Cove Park is a beautiful park located on the Southwest corner of South Sioux City, Nebraska. Crystal Cove is a 60-acre park with lake, 1.5 miles bike/hike trail, nature trails, fishing & shelter for rent. In 2005 Crystal Cove underwent a $1.5 million renovation project to dredge the lake to improve habitat. The park is home to over 200 species of birds and wildlife. The lake is stocked 3 times yearly with fish for usmmer and winter ice fishing.

Boundless Playground at Leif Erikson Park
A Boundless Playground is a playground that involved planning and design compoonents to address accessibility by following the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) Final Rule for Play Areas. Boundless Playground enable all children - including those with physical, developmental, cognitive and sensory disabilities - to experience independent, self-directed play, each at his or her own highest level of ability. A Boundless Playground makes it possible for everyone to be in the middle of play, together.
