The Dakota Valley Business Council is affiliated with the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce.
The Dakota Valley Business Council partnered with the Dakota Dunes Community Improvement District, Siouxland Surgery Center, MidAmerican Energy and the North Sioux City Economic Development Corporation to undertake a study of the economic impact Dakota Dunes, North Sioux City and Union County has had on the Sioux City MSA. The study was conducted by the University of Northern Iowa. The overall objective of the study was to establish southern Union County as a contributor to the overall economy of the MSA.
