Awesome Biker Nights

Awesome Biker Nights has become one of the premier events in Sioux City. Each year thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts gather in Sioux City for a weekend of riding and entertainment. The Historic Fourth Street area is closed to automobile traffic letting bikers park along the street "Sturgis Rally" style.

Friday night riders enjoy food and music at the Anderson Dance Pavilion located on Sioux City's beautiful riverfront. Saturday events include a Poker Run, Motorcycle Parade, Bike Show and Swap Meet-Contest, Concert and Motorcycle raffle. The 100-mile Poker Run tours the scenic Loess Hills and ends up on Historic Fourth Street. The bike parade leaves around 6 p.m. from Fourth Street, along the river front and back.

Saturday evening is as popular with site seers as it is for the riders. The Historic Fourth Street area is filled with bikes and people. The side streets have merchandise booths set up selling leather goods, chrome and other motorcycle accessories. People enjoy food and drink as live bands fill the air with music. This is a great event which benefits the St. Florian Fire & Burn Foundation. The event is usually held in late June.
