Chamber of Commerce

The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce annual dinner, held each fall, is the largest annual chamber gathering in the Midwest.  This past year, over 1,100 Siouxland businesses and business professionals from the tri-state area attended.

The Siouxland Chamber boasts a distinguished list of guest speakers at the annual meeting, including Mary Matalin and James Carville, Mark Russell, Tim Russert, Judge Robert Bjork, John Stossel, Ted Koppel, Sam Donaldson, George Will, Bob Schieffer, and General H. Norman Schwarzkov, George Stephanopoulos, just to name a few.  The guest speakers at the 2010 Annual Dinner were John Heilemann & Mark Halperin, authors of the instant best-seller Game Change. 

Each year the Chamber recognizes the accomplishments of the past board members and introduces the incoming board. One highlight of the evening is the presentation of the W. Edwards Deming Entrepreneurial Excellence Award to a Siouxland businessperson in acknowledgment of outstanding contributions to the business community.  The 2010 recipients of the award were Roger & Jane Bomgaars of Bomgaars.
