Special Role in Ambassadors: Emeritus since 1992. Served as Ambassador Chair for 2 years and have chaired every committee
WHY I CHOSE TO VOLUNTEER MY TIME TO THE CHAMBER AMBASSADORS: I found learning about all the new members of the Chamber so interesting. Being an Ambassador affords us the opportunity to visit businesses most of us would never have a chance to visit. Also to promote the Chamber to those businesses who would are not aware the benefits of belonging to the Chamber.
FAVORITE ANNUAL SIOUXLAND CHAMBER EVENT: Golf Event has always been great fun event!
ANYTHING ELSE: My husband and I are parents of 7 children and now grandparents of 7. Our children have all left Sioux City and this, of course, is a trend that I would like to see change-keeping our youth here. I think we are moving in the right direction with Sioux City GO and getting the young professionals involved in community events.
